INGREDIENTS AND THEIR INDICATIONS

Bryonia alba 3X : Dry, hacking cough from irritation in upper trachea. Cough, dry, hard very painful in sides of chest must hold the chest, with vomiting, with stitches in chest, and expectoration of rust-coloured sputa. Expectoration brick shade, tough, and falls like lumps of jelly. Tough mucus in trachea, loosened only with much hawking. Of use in Croupous and pleuro-pneumonia. Bronchitis. Asthma. Cough with sneezing and aggravated form coming into warm room. Nausea excites cough and cough often excite vomiting.

Ipecacuanha 3X : Cough and difficult breathing. Wheezing breathing and great oppression of the chest ; the cough sounds loose, but no phlegm is raised. Asthma. Bronchitis. Catarrh.

Antimonium tartaricum 6X : Asthmatic oppression of chest. Dry, tickling cough. Spasmodic cough, with difficulty in lying down. Whooping-cough. Lungs, affections of. Asthma. Bronchitis. Catarrh. Coarse, loose, rattling cough. Lungs seems full of mucus yet less and less is raised. Coughing and gasping.

Phosphorus 6X : Cough from tickling of throat and worse from cold air, reading, laughing, talking from going from warm room into cold air; provoked by strong odours. Congestion of lungs. Pneumonia. Sputa rusty, blood-coloured, or purulent.

Drosera rotundifolia 1X : Spasmodic dry irritative cough, cough; efforts to raise the phlegm end in retching and vomiting ; barking cough, coming so frequently that the patient cannot get his breath ; whooping cough. For Whooping, dry, barking & choking cough which is worse from singing and talking.
